b. Account & Authentication Information

Horatio currently uses third-party authentication providers including:

  • Apple Sign In
  • Google Sign In
  • Firebase Authentication services

We may receive information associated with your account from these providers, such as:

  • unique account identifiers
c. Rehearsal & Script Content

Horatio allows users to upload, import, create, and export scripts and rehearsal materials.

Your scripts and rehearsal content are private to your account unless you choose to export or share them yourself.

To generate rehearsal audio, portions of script text may be transmitted securely to third-party AI voice providers through Horatio’s backend infrastructure.

Horatio Labs does not use your uploaded scripts or generated rehearsal outputs to train its own AI models.

d. AI Voice Generation

Horatio uses third-party providers including ElevenLabs to generate rehearsal audio.

When using voice generation features:

  • script text may be processed by these providers
  • processing occurs solely for the purpose of generating rehearsal audio
  • third-party providers may process submitted content in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies

Generated rehearsal audio is stored locally on your device.

e. Information Collected Automatically

We may automatically collect certain technical and usage information, including:

  • Device type
  • Operating system
  • App version
  • Browser type
  • IP address
  • Usage statistics
  • Diagnostic information
  • App interaction events
  • Crash and performance data

We may use analytics and infrastructure providers including:

Generated rehearsal audio is primarily stored locally on your device.

When accounts are deleted, Horatio attempts to remove associated account data and locally stored application data connected to the Services.

Some limited information may temporarily remain in backups, logs, or security systems where reasonably necessary.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information.

However:

  • no internet transmission is completely secure
  • no electronic storage method is guaranteed to be fully secure

Accordingly, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Horatio operates from Australia but may use infrastructure and service providers located in other countries.

By using the Services, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your own jurisdiction.

Horatio currently allows users to export script data in JSON format and delete their accounts within the app.

Horatio is not directed toward children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that information has been collected from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
